Recollection of 2009:
So.. I can't further emphasize on how fast time flies. 2009 came and gone, and suddenly 2010 has come knocking at our door. 2010? Just wow la! I can still remember going for the 1999 or 2000 millenium countdown.... -.-
I guess 2009 has been a rather good year!
Internship at Autodesk..
The first six months of 2009 was spent in Autodesk for my first ever internship experience! It was a good experience for me... Super nice colleagues, made good friends, had a great supervisor, etc. And btw, Autodesk ex-TD interns needs another gathering soon !
Personal best semester result in NTU (so far)..
Hmmm. Yup, so after so many attempts, I finally managed to keep my term results to within the As and Bs. Finally NO Cs... lol. I think I studied alot smarter this sem.
Well, I loved the fact that there was no weekly tutorials simply because I usually learn NOTHING from them. =/
I loved the fact that presentations took a considerable part in some of my modules.
I also loved the fact that I was able to attend most of the lectures ! (But not all =c)
Basic Golfing experience!..
Lols. Yup.. Golf was such a significant part of my life that I had to include it as a highlight of 2009! Or maybe its because my life is just so boring =/ ... lol. Anyway, golf was pretty fun. AT least now I dare say I can swing close to 200 metres on a good day... Wished I could be more consistent though.. =x
GIP Prelude @ Suzhou!!
What a way to end 2009! I applied for the prelude with Ayu, just so that I could gain some overseas exchange experience.. And I sure did gain the experience I was seeking! Nevermind I didnt get the GIP-Beijing, cos the Suzhou one was fun too. I had to miss my family Europe trip for this, but I think it was well worth it. At least now I know that I can navigate my way past the Airport Customs on my own. =/ hahhas.
Now for my 2010 New Year Resolution (s)!
I used to WASTE my new year resolutions on growing taller. Yes.. it was really a waste, cos it didnt really seem to realize =x.. lol. So this coming year, I'm going to make several resolutions.. And I intend or hope to, work towards all of them!
.Top this semester's results in my final semester in NTU
.Make progress in FYP so that I can at least get a B+
.Overcome my fear of driving
.Find a good job after graduation
And also...
.Plan out a fun graduation trip with friends
.Start to hold my liquor better
.Continue to hate cigarettes
.Meet up with old friends whom I might have lost contact with...
(I love my friends, I really do!)
