Fushionopolis Blood Donation Drive~
Yup. So finally. I did it. Under the pressure of all my fellow AUTODESK interns, I went through the blood donation process.. ! Quite an accomplishment if you ask me. You see, donating blood is one of those things that I've always wanted to do but yet didnt have the freaking guts to do it in the past. There was once when I went with NAT all the way to Outram Park's blood donation institute, only to end up NOT donating due to some parental consent issues. Then another time in JC, I remember squeaking when I saw Kaiwei's sleeve covered with blood while donating blood. Most recently, there was this blood donation drive during my NAVY training days, of which I don't even remember having the slightest thought about donating blood then. (Can't quite remember why!)
So I'm rather proud of myself. I did not chicken out. And I potentially saved 3 lives!.. =x
^Cool purple bandage that I can 'proudly' wear on my journey home.. (nevermind, ignore me)
Survivor on ch5:
This show is freaking addictive. I got to admit, getting hooked to reality TV shows is one of my greatest weakness. =x Survivor has always been at the top of that evil LIST. Why? Simple, if you look deep enough, the gameshow actually reflects alot about the real world. Everyone is different. We all have strong points and weak points that we may or may not even know.
Will the strongest really necessary win in Survivor? (NO cause they are the bigger threats).. OKAY.. so will the weaker granny win? (NOT NECESSARY, cause they are weak and can't win immunity challenges)..
What about the smart alecks with incredible IQ? (Probably go far... But their attitude might not win them many friends. And friends -> Allies, etc) .. Ok.. So that leaves us with the nice sociable ppl who smiles at foes and friends all the same. (Well, I kinda like the ppl in this catagory. Cause networking is so so important in life. But then again, these ppl might not win because they are neither that strong nor that smart)..
If you read through the above chunk, I applaud you for your patience. But on a more meaningful note, I think its important to be fairly strong, fairly smart, and sociable at the same time. That way, with the right balance, you will probably outwit the bodybuilders, outmuscle the prodigys, and beat the likable hypocrites all at the same time!.. lol.
*I'm sorry I lied today. I really did not mean to, and I honestly hope nothing happens from it.*
