Exactly one week to my first paper now. And as usual, dumb NTU gives no study week for us to prepare. I mean, that is just plain stupidity on the part of the school's teaching plan. Sure you can say we shd practise active learning etc, but ultimately, the time spent right before the examinations will play an important role in the grades.. I just have to take a stroll along the spines in the middle of night to prove my point. (limitless sea of foreign students mugging their way through the night)
Anyway, the highly-anticipated chain of restaurants started operation ytd! There were Subway, Macs (new location), Old Chang Kee, and a unheard-of dining restaurant. (Also heard SAKAE was somewhere upstairs but too lazy to explore) I decided to queue for Subway to satisfy my perpetual craving for their italian bmt and subway-melt.. it was ridiculous la. I wonder why I actually bothered to queue. I srsly believe that with the time spent on queueing, I could have took bus 179 to Jurong Point, order my meal at the Subway outlet there, sit down to eat at leisure speed, then take bus 199 back to hall.. =/
Well, hopefully the hype over Subway fades away.. So that I can buy my italian bmt without having to queue for over an hour!
