'Does spending money make a person happy?' Other then helping boost the economy by injecting the money spent thru the Keynes multiplier effect, I would like to propose the hypothesis that spending money DOES increase one's happiness level substantially as well.
And the good thing is, you don't have to spend alot la. Hahs.. Anyway, I was at the Comex over @ the Suntec City exhibition halls today. It wasn't as crowded as I expected, but still... , packed enough for a little boy to get lost (Announced over the P.A system..) I actually came in with the intention of not buying anything.. Just to accompany a friend and to 'see see' only. Ultimately I guess, temptation got the better of me.. I just had to buy something from there. I can't really explain the feeling. But essentially, what I'm trying to say is that, I ended up buying a Computer Headset and a Ipod adapter charger. Spent less than $40 all in all.. Which is pretty okay lor. Lol.
We proceeded to Taka to spend my $50 voucher. It was pretty disappointing when I realised that the voucher could only be used inside the Takashimaya S.C Department store.. (Meaning it excluded the A|X, etc..) Well, I picked up a blue puma T-shirt. I think it was a good buy la.. At least I think I would wear it to school every now and then. Hmm, I used to buy clothes that ended up in a dark corner of my cabinet , only to collect dust. =X
My first time trying pepper lunch. It was pretty good.. Will probably be back to try the other flavors sometime soon =)
This headset will ensure that I would be able watch my online lectures with no disturbances in future. =X
Mm, I got abit interested in what a 'Cam-Whore' meant.. And started to worry if I did fall into that catagory. Being me, I just had to 'wikipedia' it to find out more.
