I was reading TNP today (Sunday Edition) and the cover page was on this picture of Miss Singapore World. It kinda caught my attention so i flipped through and realised that her pronunciation was criticized by the media/public .. =c See for yourself. I think she wasn't that bad?

Anyway, since we are at the topics of Girls and Public Speaking, I realized that most of my grouping this Semester has at least a Girl (s) !.. Weird because for the past 3 years (5 semesters) , I have only done my group work with guys! (maybe due to the nature of my course! lol). Anyway, I feel that girls in my school are in no way slacker or lazier or w/e. I really do!... I used to hear from friends about how some "flower pots" just depend on the guys to do the work for them, but from what I see, the girls are almost against directly the opposite! In marketing, Sihua is basically the leader and rightly so. For 4011, Heather Smith is probably the most knowledgeable among all. Haha. GOSH, some girls are just so damn professional!
This kinda reminded me. Prof John Heng was super funny last Friday la. Seemed to pick on Heather all the time. Calling her a 'typical beautiful Scottish Lass' .... Claiming to have a 'special connection with her' etc etc.. Full of nonsense la... LOL. Well at least he seems slack. =/ So I'm not complaining.. Not complaining at all. Hahas.
